Regional Romanian - French Summer School in Applied Mathematics

This first edition of the Regional Summer School is dedicated to the 150 years anniversary of Bucharest University

PURPOSE
To offer the opportunity to students from Romania and the neighbouring countries, as well as from France, to get acquainted with top research problems in applied mathematics

- Fisher KPP models in population dynamics - Dr. Gael Raoul, CNRS, France

July 7-10
- Introduction to Fast Solvers - Dr. Denis Gueyffier, ONERA, France
- Numerical methods for PDEs - Pr. Liviu Marin, Bucharest University

LANGUAGE English

LEVEL 3rd year students, Master students, PhD students

SELECTION A maximum number of 30 students will be selected by a Scientific Committee

FUNDING The local expenses (housing and board) for the selected students will be covered by the organizers. Travel expenses will be covered by the participants.
