A group of 4 Tibetan Buddhist monks will come to Romania for 1-2 weeks and perform religious chanting and build a sand mandala. During the process of building the sand mandala (which might take about one week) the visitors are allowed to freely observe the work of the monks. The publishing of a CD with chanting and/or pictures and/or an album explaining the sand mandalas is also considered.
Tibetan traditional medical doctors will come to Romania and present the Tibetan traditional medical system. We also seek to establish a substantial cooperation between Tibetan doctors and Romanian traditional medical doctors. This might include the study of Tibetan medical herbs in the Carpathians.
In the first stage we plan to organize lectures by Tibetan Buddhist teachers. In the second stage we aim to establish Tibetan Buddhist practice centers in Romania.
We plan to publish Romanian translations of Tibetan Buddhist teaching books and Tibetan poetry. At this moment we try to concentrate on recent books by H.H. the Dalai Lama.
