Conference Second Announcement

The conference is organized by the Institute of Mathematics "Simion Stoilow" of the Romanian Academy under the EURROMMAT Programme supported by the European Commission and by the "Ovidius" University - Constantza. |

September 22 - 26, 2002 |

Arrival Day: |
Saturday, September 21, 2002 at the Bucharest airport or train station. There will be one or two charter buses which will pick up the participants (arriving in Bucharest before 4pm) from the airport and the train station and bring them to Mamaia (Constantza). The participants arriving after 4pm will take an evening train to arrive in Constantza (but there will be somebody to pick them up from the airport/station). |

Conference Fee: |
60 euro (or 50 USD) - the conference fee will cover the social programme |

Deadline for registration: |
The interested people are kindly requested to inform the organizers by June 30, 2002 about their final decision to attend the conference and their preference for the hotel reservation (single room or a place in a double room). This is necessary because we have to make the hotel reservation at the beginning of July for these negociated prices. |

There will be a number of plenary lectures in the morning, and three parallel sessions in the afternoon, at the University ``Ovidius'' campus (Mamaia), about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel.
The participants will stay at a 3 stars hotel in Mamaia (probably Hotel Perla). The estimated prices are: 26 USD/night for a single room (sufficient for persons accompanied by wives or husbands), and 15 USD/night for persons willing to share a double room with somebody else. The breakfast is included in any of these prices.
There will be funds for supporting a number of participants from EU or Associated Countries (sufficient to cover the hotel, the meals and the conference fee) - please contact the organizers. The participants are urged to apply to EAGER-supported meetings for travel support.
