May 17, 2013: Participation of the Prorector Vasile Brinzanescu with the presentation Une École Normale Supérieure à Bucarest in the event TEDxCERN@IFIN-HH: "Multiplying dimensions".

July 22, 2013: Presentation of research and study oportunities at the École normale supérieure de Cachan at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Bucharest.

February 15, 2011: In the presence of Prof. Cedric Villani (Fields medalist in 2010), the French Embassy in Bucharest, the Foundation Sciences Mathematiques de Paris, the Institute of Mathematics "Simion Stoilow" and SNS-B have signed a co-operation agreement  (text available here; a picture from the event available here)

November 9, 2010: The Institute of Mathematics "Simion Stoilow", SNS-B, the Romanian Academy and the University of Bucharest have signed a co-operation agreement (text available here) 

March 2010: The Mathematics Department of SNS-B and IMAR invited Prof. Bernard Helffer (Univ. Paris Sud-Orsay) to deliver a series of lectures on "Spectral theory and applications".

November 28, 2006: The SNSB Mathematics department was awarded a 3-year grant from the Clay Mathematics Institute

November 24-25, 2005: Professor Paul Gauduchon (Ecole Polytechnique) delivered a series of lectures on Extremal Kaehler metrics
