Welcome to the Romanian-Tibetan Friendship Society! l
Romanian-Tibetan Friendship Society is both a cultural society and a support group for the freedom of Tibet. Membership is open to all friends of Tibet, and especially to those with some connection or interest in the Tibetan spirituality or culture.
The main goals of our society are to
promote the Tibetan spirituality and culture in Romania including the invaluable Tibetan Buddhist teachings,
rise awarness within various sections of the Romanian society on the situation of Tibet and mount Romanian governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions to act for the urgent resolution of the Tibetan problem within the framework of His Holiness The Dalai Lama "Middle Way Approach" based on compassion and non-violence,
provide help to the Tibetan exiles in various ways including welcoming them in Romania.
As Tibet is the last sacred country of our world, our only direct connection to the ancient spiritual traditions of our humanity, it is a duty of all of us to preserve Tibetan unique cultural and spiritual heritage. This is particularly relevant to Romania whose far ancient spirituality of Hyperborean Dacia seems to be related to the Tibetan spirituality.
