Conference-Poster
This meeting is intended to resume an old tradition of holding congresses of Romanian mathematicians and it is largely open to international participation. Six such congresses were organized in Cluj (1929), Turnu Severin (1932), Bucharest (1945, 1956, and 2007), and Pitesti (2003). The Seventh Congress will be held in Brasov from June 29 to July 5, 2011, and will be organized by the Section of Mathematical Sciences of the Romanian Academy, "Simion Stoilow" Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Transilvania University of Brasov, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Bucharest, and the Romanian Mathematical Society, in partnership with the European Mathematical Society. A selection of the proceedings of the congress will be published.

The participation fee is 50 Euro and should be payed at the registration desk. It covers the conference materials and the refreshments.
A suplement of 120 Lei covers the Excursion (including a lunch) and Congress Dinner.

Abstracts

    The abstracts of all talks will be included in the conference materials. Participants intending to give a talk are kindly requested to send by e-mail (congmatro@imar.ro) an abstract of up to one page, attached as a LATEX file, before May 15, 2011. The e-mail should have the following Subject:
              Name-Abstract CRM-section X
    where X denotes one of the eight sections of the congress. The attached file should be entiteld
              Name-AbstractCRM-sectionX.tex

Proceedings

    The proceedings of The Seventh Congress of Romanian Mathematicians will be published jointly by Editura Academiei Publishing House and Transilvania University of Brasov Publishing House. Please, send the contribution you intend to submit as a PDF file of at most 15 pages, until February 1st, 2012, on the e-mail address: congmatro@imar.ro, with SUBJECT: Proceedings CMR7. After the referring procedure, the accepted papers have to be sent as TEX files.
