The First Balkan Mathematics Conference

Steering Committee:

The Steering Committee is responsible for the scientific program of the conference, proposal of invited speakers and young invited mathematicians (under 40 years old) from participating mathematical societies, selection of the organizers of the next edition of the BMC.

The Steering Committee has the following members:

• Volker Mehrmann, EMS President
• Betül Tanbay, EMS Vice-President
• Karine Chemla, Chair of the EMS Committee for European Solidarity

Scientific Advisory Committee:

The first BMC speakers will be determined by the Steering Committee.

A Scientific Advisory Committee will be formed for the next BMC, with members chosen among the invited speakers of the previous BMC. The task of the Scientific Advisory Committee will be to select the invited speakers and young invited mathematicians from the list proposed by the Steering Committee.
