The program committee invites mathematicians to organize special
sessions. We strongly encourage joint organization of special sessions
by mathematicians from the US and Romania.
The first step in organizing a special session is to submit a proposal.
A proposal consists of the names, affiliations, and email addresses of the
organizers, with one organizer designated as the "contact person", and a
title, short description, and tentative list of speakers for the
session. The proposals should be emailed before September 1, 2012,
to Prof. Steven H. Weintraub (the associate secretary): shw2@Lehigh.EDU
The program committee will decide on the acceptance of the proposals.
Once a proposal is accepted, the organizers are free to invite speakers.
Since the special session will be publicly announced, mathematicians
(even if
not invited) may submit abstracts, and the organizers decide whether to
accept
them.
