Transfer from the Airports

Concerning the transfer from Sibiu/Cluj-Napoca airports to Alba Iulia and back:
According to the conference schedule, the transfer from/to the airport will be organized only during the period June 25 - July 1. Participants who have already requested transfer at a date outside this period should contact the organizers (Nicoleta Breaz at nicoletabreaz@yahoo.com).
On arrival
On your arrival with the flight you have announced to the Organizing Committee you will meet at the arrival line a person holding a poster with the conference name and the acronym AMS. Depending on other possible arrivals close to yours, you might be asked to wait for no more than 1 hour during the night and 2 hours during the day, before your departure to Alba Iulia. From Sibiu to Alba Iulia, depending on the traffic, it takes around 1 hour and from Cluj-Napoca to Alba Iulia, around 2 hours.
The participants arriving in Sibiu/Cluj-Napoca previously and spending a night in Sibiu/Cluj-Napoca, and wanting to join the conference buses, are supposed to inform Nicoleta Breaz (at the above e-mail address) in order to fix the date and the hour, and come at the Information point of the airport, at the agreed time.
On departure
A voucher containing the departure meeting point and the exact time will be given to you at the hotel or at the conference registration desk. As general information from Alba Iulia to Sibiu, depending on the traffic, it takes around 1 hour, from Alba Iulia to Cluj-Napoca, it takes around 2 hours; also please take into account that you have to be in the airport at least one hour before your flight (Cluj-Napoca and Sibiu are small airports); depending on other close departures scheduled on the same shuttle bus, you may be asked to leave a little bit earlier. The meeting point for departure will be the hotel/university hostel where you have booked accommodation in Alba Iulia.

The city of Alba Iulia is 380 km far from Bucharest (Bucuresti), 100 km far from Cluj-Napoca,
70 km far from Sibiu and 200 km far from Timisoara, the nearest cities having international airports.
