Additional information for getting to conference location/ accommodation places
Registration desk. At the registration desk you can get the conference bag containing the conference program and detailed information about
the location of the conference rooms. It is located at the House of Culture, Mihai Viteazul Street, No. 31, Alba Iulia and it is open according with the following program:
June 26: 14:00-20:00 h
June 27-30: 08:00-12:00 h
Location of the opening ceremony and invited addresses: the House of Culture (Mihai Viteazul Street, No. 31, Alba Iulia), in the main amphitheater.
Location of the special sessions: the main campus of "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, Nicolae Iorga Street, No. 11 -13, Alba Iulia, at around
10 minutes walking distance from House of Culture.
Transportation
For those who requested the transfer from Sibiu or Cluj-Napoca airport, the shuttle bus will leave them at the destination.
For those arriving in Alba Iulia by car/train/bus/taxi the following information could be useful:
from the train/bus station you can take a metered taxi, the taxi fare in Alba Iulia being around 2.2 lei (0.5 euro)/km during
the day and 2.5 lei during the night. The price from the train/bus station to your accommodation place should be around a minimum of
10 Romanian lei and a maximum of 25 Romanian lei, depending on the destination. For the taxi driver, the mention of the hotel name should
be enough but for more safety it is better if you have also the address of the hotel.
The transfer from Astoria Hotel to the House of Culture is provided by the hotel, at 08:00 h, in each conference day (27-30 of June)
and from Vila Elisabeta, by a shuttle bus, at 08:00 h, in each conference day (27-30 of June). The other hotels recommended through
the website of the conference are located at around a maximum of 15 minutes walking distance from House of Culture and university main campus.
